The portions are good. The platter for four was large enough that accompanied with another two dishes, we were able to feed ten people. The water had a bit of a coffee flavour to it. The staff were extra helpful and friendly.

Had the serlion steak. You can add an ounce more steak for 3 dollars. I decided on the 10oz blue rare. It was delicious! Well prepared and a nice cut of meat.Overall I would definately visit again.

1969...Trocadero has been in business for half a century, and with the warm service and delicious food, here's to 50+ more years!Food is fresh and service is friendly. Family run and you can see the staff loves the restaurant. Very fair prices. Can get loud when there are large groups, but that just contributes to the atmosphere! Give this East Van institution a try & you won't be disappointed!

I will never come back here again!!!! We ordered a large Italian salad ($10), medium veggie pizza, and a chicken solvaki dish. The rice in the chicken solvaki dish was extremely dry and hard. At first I thought it was undercooked, but when I saw several hard pieces of completely dried up old rice, I'm convinced they served us old rice. The "large" Italian salad was nothing special. And the veggie pizza was mediocre.The waitresses were nice and the service is not bad. However, considering their low quality and pricey menu this place is definately not worth your visit or money.

Very friendly attentive staff. Great honest opinions on menu choices. I had the baked ravioli, it was good but not great. Pizza are great here but wanted to try something new. Will return for the warm welcome and friendly rapport.

Great family restaurant. Pizza, steaks, pasta and more. Very friendly and attentive servers. Several servers passing our table checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Started with calamari. Light tempura style batter and you can tell they keep the fryers oil changed regularly (one of my biggest peeves is old oil) Tasty chicken parmigiana with lasagna for me and vegetarian pizza for the wife. Veggie pizza was not soggy as some are. Bottle of BC shiraz for $30? Same wine would be $50 downtown. Whole meal with wine was $110. Good food, good service, good prices. You can see why they've been in business for so long. We'll be back!

The homemade tzatziki sauce was fantastic- the shreds of fresh cucumber made it particularly fresh tasting. Great portion size- bigger than you need, but not obscene. Our appetizer was served in about five minutes and the staff was welcoming. Would eat here again.

Prices are okay. Chicken was a bit dry, ribs were a bit bland and lamb was okay. Pizzas are good however. Service is friendly.

Beautiful looking restaurant with hardwood floors and paibted murals on the walls. I'd recommend hosting an event like a large birthday party. Its very spacious.It also had to potential of a sports bar with bar stools and flat screens. The staff were very friendly including the two servers and the owner who was out front.The price point was a bit high. I wouldn't go back for dinner if it was just me. The bean and tomato soup was the only vegan option. Plus, I paid $25 for a large pizza and took off the most expensive ingredient (cheese). I understand there is a traditional demographic that the restaurant is caterring to but more vegan options would be appreciated.

I went there for a private function. Every one is most helpful. The food was served in generous portions. And they seem to practice distanciation to the letter. Bravo!

Amazing Greek food and excellent Italian cuisine. Something for everyone on the menu. They are old-school roasting the lamb all day So tender. Get out and support a great local business and enjoy some terrific food. 😊

This is the second time we have been sadly disappointed by Trocadero.Last year we dined in and had overcooked burnt food. One order was fine the other had burnt potatoes so hard you could not cut it and the calamari overcooked.Everybody has an off night so we decided to try them again and to support this local business when we did our first COVID-19 food pick up order.We ordered:Appetizers: Zucchini sticks: burnt, soggy, greasy, overcooked and not fit to eat.Calamari - overcooked and hardTwo skewer lamb souvlaki - the roast potatoes had a hint of lemon flavour and good, the rice okay, the lamb had a very strong taste, the Greek salad okay and the garlic toast was EXTRA crispy.My daughter told us she has ordered pizza a few times and the pizza has always been good.

Beer is over charged $9.50 for a small glass of local beer.I liked it decoration but kind of quiet and not much business may be the location

Pizza here is good as crust is nicely crunchy and a good dough chew. Prime rib is nothing worth trying. It is reheated along with the potatoes and rice. Stick with the pizza here

I dine in this great spot many times a year! This is the best place to eat. I visit this place many times. The meals are very good, the crew is helpful and the charge is good. I enjoy meeting in this spot over a tasty supper.

Horrible experience and will never ever return to this restaurant first they forgot my order then forgot extra add ons with the order sauces just taste like opened from a can service was terrible and they add 15% gratuity on the bill and I refused to pay for it they should have given a little discount or apologize but they didn't do anything at all

My father and his friends who are now in their 50’s have been coming to Troc’s since they were teenagers. If that alone doesn’t tell you how good this place is then I’m not sure what will. The food is fantastic and the service is lovely. Inside the restaurant you really feel at home with how you are treated, always very comforting and accommodating. Portion sizes are generous, almost always having some for leftovers which will be great as tomorrow’s lunch. Overall, Trocadero’s is a fantastic dining experience and I hope I am able to bring my children here when I am 50

I meet with friends this place quite a bit! This is my favorite place to eat. I go to this spot many times. The food is fantastic, the workers are welcoming and the charge is fair. I like being in this restaurant to have a good meal.

Came here to meet some friends for a dinner at 7pm on Sunday and it wasn't too busy. When you first walk in the restaurant, you are pleasantly greeted by their amount of space. It's really spacious. Great for large groups or parties.We ordered two large pizzas. One Trocodero's special and one Spicy Hawaiian. Toppings were generous. Crust was really good with some crispness. I preferred their Special, as it had more flavor than the Hawaiian. I didn't get that greasy feeling afterwards which was nice. Excellent food! Highly recommended! I'll be back.Oh, they'll be celebrating their 50th anniversary next year! Big congrats!!! They're definitely doing something right!

Hands down the best Greek restaurant in Vancouver. Run by the same Greek family since the 60s or 70s. They treat us like family every time we go there and the food never disappoints. Covid protocols are taken veryseriously and we felt super safe eating there tonight. The pizza is also fantastic.

Yummmm!! We've been coming here for years, and they are always excellent!! The food is delicious and the family who owns it treat us like friends when we walk in, a very warm, cozy environment. Food is always spot-on, we've never had a bad experience here.

We arrived at this restaurant for lunch. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was very nice. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. Keep it up.
